How does the ritual of coffee evolve when the boundaries between reality and imagination dissolve?
This project explores a bold, emotional vision of the Starbucks universe by imagining immersive brand experiences in extreme and symbolic locations: from Mars to the Nevada desert, to a space station orbiting the Earth.
The concept originates from a desire to expand the meaning of ritual and comfort associated with the brand, bringing Starbucks where no one has dared to go.
Extraordinary settings, dreamlike atmospheres, and impossible architecture come together in a vision that remains emotionally aligned with the brand’s core: warmth, hospitality, and human connection.
Creative Strategy
The concept is built around four strategic pillars:
Reimagining the place
Starbucks is more than a physical location; it is a state of mind. It can exist wherever someone needs a moment of peace, even on Mars or at Burning Man.
The siren’s tail becomes architectural inspiration.
Emotional futurism
The aesthetic is inspired by Karim Rashid and Jean Nouvel. Organic shapes, fluid surfaces, translucent materials, iridescent textures, and green highlights create a visionary yet human design.
Comfort plus wonder becomes a memorable experience.
Narrative beverages
Every drink tells a story through evocative names and visual identity.
Examples include Dark Matter Drip, Solar Flare Espresso, Orion.
These are not just products; they are immersive rituals.
Functional and iconic packaging
The classic Starbucks cup is reimagined for extreme environments like sandstorms and zero gravity, while staying instantly recognizable.
The result is futuristic and collectible drinkware.
Purpose
This project is not intended to be realistic but to inspire.
It is a creative exploration of how Starbucks could live beyond the boundaries of retail, becoming a universal symbol of emotional refuge and imaginative escape.
