THE BLURINATOR
When conceptual art meets Britpop, a new visual cult is born.

"The Blurinator" is an AI-generated character born from the unlikely fusion of Maurizio Cattelan’s infamous banana duct-taped to a wall and the larger-than-life persona of Liam Gallagher.
One has been dismissed as too simple, the other can never be simple enough together, they become a new icon.
The Blurinator is a digital totem, a prophet-like figure dispensing sharp, surreal truths with Mancunian swagger.
The name? A hybrid of Blur (because deep down, I’m a Blur fan) and Terminator, a cheeky nod to the legendary Blur vs. Oasis rivalry.
With this project, I wanted to celebrate, and poke fun at the Oasis reunion by creating an absurd new deity for the Britpop age.
