GMV - MAKE YOUR MOVE
Fictional Automotive Commercial - Original Cut
MAKE YOUR MOVE is a cinematic automotive commercial created for GMV, a fictional premium performance-car brand.
The film explores a simple idea: power isn't only about performance. It's the courage to act on what you really want.
Leen races from Milan into the Po Valley, apparently desperate to interrupt a wedding. As she enters the ceremony, the film deliberately leads us to believe she has come for either the bride or the groom.
She hasn't.
The final reveal reframes the entire journey and turns the film into a story about desire, risk and having the courage to make an irreversible decision.
THE CREATIVE IDEA
The concept creates a parallel between the physical power of the car and the human power required to make a life-changing choice.
Acceleration, braking, grip and control become more than product demonstrations. They express urgency, determination and the momentum of a decision that can no longer be postponed.
The product and story therefore communicate the same idea:
MAKE YOUR MOVE.
STORYTELLING
The narrative is constructed around misdirection and reveal.
The first act uses speed and automotive performance to create urgency without explaining Leen's destination.
At the wedding, the rhythm suddenly slows. Glances between Leen, the bride and groom deliberately establish a familiar romantic scenario and invite the audience to predict the outcome.
The final reveal overturns that assumption.
What initially appears to be a story about interrupting someone else's decision becomes a story about someone finding the courage to make his own.
That last line is particularly strong for the priest version.

Speculative project for The Curious Refuge Contests.
This film is based on a simple idea: every generation has people who quietly challenge convention and choose a different way to live. In the 1960s, the Volkswagen Bulli became their symbol. Today, the ID. Buzz carries that same spirit forward. The vehicle changed. The spirit didn't.
Rather than focusing on performance or product features, the creative strategy was to reinterpret the Bulli's cultural legacy for a new generation. The goal was to tell an emotional brand story that celebrates freedom, belonging and the courage to step outside convention, even if only for one night.
One of the key creative decisions came directly from the vehicle itself. The front of the ID. Buzz has an almost cheeky, knowing smile, and that expression became the emotional language of the film. The protagonists share that same subtle smile throughout the story, reflecting the quiet joy of leaving expectations behind and embracing a different way of living.
The creative direction focused on cinematic realism, subtle storytelling and visual consistency, allowing the audience to discover the idea rather than having it explained. AI supported concept development and production, while every creative decision was guided by narrative, creative strategy, emotional continuity and visual coherence.
